Just Like Martha Stewart....Or Not

This was our Tuesday afternoon starting around 3:30: 

While Tommy did this:

And Annabel did this:

I made this (a whole chicken in my pretty new Giada dutch oven):

Then, when the bird had about 30 minutes to go, I made these:

and some of these:

and this for dessert (mini strawberry banana muffins):

So far, so Martha, right?!  Except maybe for those muffins - I may have filled the cups up a little too much. Martha uses Stove Top, too, right?!  Ummm...  But I tried hard.  So things were going well for me Martha-wise.

But then when the bird had this much time left to cook:

I guess I missed the part about cleaning as you go.  Oh well.  Everything tasted great!  So great that i forgot to take pictures of the finished products.  But I gave Will the night off of clean-up duty since I had made such a mess.  It took me FOREVER to clean it all up, but it was worth it!
