Before I upload (download?) the rest of the pictures from November, I want to talk about December. I love December. Although December is a busy month full of decorating, kids activities, and shopping for gifts, it's also a perfect month to slow down. This month I plan to stay home as much as possible, make lots of mexican chicken soup, sew up a couple of special projects, bake a ton of banana berry muffins, watch Christmas movies, and practice my knitting. A certain little boy has his heart set on a new mama-made green scarf. Hopefully I can make that happen for him!
This Christmas we've put out some new-to-us decorations: nutcrackers and manger scenes from Gramma's collections. I am so in love with these little reminders that are set out all over our home. They remind me of the true meaning of Christmas, and of all those that get to celebrate in heaven. I can only imagine the party!
So we're here, getting ready, slowing down, enjoying this lovely month of December.
