Cookies!

Snowed in? No problem! After the big December snow of 2009 that dumped over a foot of snow on our little corner of the city, Tommy and I settled into the kitchen to make Christmas cookies! We started with jam thumbprints, then moved on to sugar cookies, and finished up this afternoon with chocolate snowman cupcakes. They all taste great and are, of course, calorie free since I had to make them using half regular and half whole wheat flour (the only flour left at Kroger after the snow-crazed/Christmas shoppers). As a final note, please don't pay attention to Tommy's teeth in the picture of us holding the snowman cupcake -- he had just eaten a handful of M&Ms (not to mention about 3 marshmallows, sprinkles, frosting, and more M&Ms - he's definitely had enough sugar to last him until Christmas). Tomorrow I'll be posting snow pictures! Happy Winter!
