To Grandmother's House We Went. . .

. . . Sort of. We spent the weekend in Richmond, VA surprising Gramma for her big birthday! Tommy and Aunt Ki-Ki (who flew in from Colorado for the big day) were the first surprise on Friday afternoon, and the big party on Saturday afternoon was the second surprise. Everyone managed to keep their mouths shut until the appropriate time, and upon it's arrival, shouted "SURPRISE" all at the same time. Hooray for surprises! We haven't gotten all the photos of our trip up here yet, so for now I'll post some from the weekend before, which sadly got skipped over in all the craziness of trying to get through a test and packing and getting out of town.

Gatty and Uncle Ralph came down to visit while Will was out of town. Uncle R. went to Cherokee for a bit while Gatty and Tommy and I headed to Grandad's to get some apples. We ended up getting a 1/2 bushel of #2 Golden Delicious apples for only $6!! And guess how many apples comes in 1/2 a bushel? We laid them all out and counted 83!! What a deal! Here are some pictures from our weekend antics.
First, here's a shot of 79 of our 83 apples (we had already eaten the other 4).

Here's Tommy with his cute little pumpkin that Gatty brought him.

Before they left, Gatty gave Tommy his nightly bath. We may have had a little too much fun styling his amazingly stylish hair.

I'll try to get the most recent weekend photos up here in the next day or so. Until next time bloggers. . .
