The New Fleet

After Tommy was born, we had a ton of offers for babysitters. Being 6 to 8 hours away from most of our family, we knew at some point we were going to have to take advantage of so many kind offers. Now that I've gone back to school and Will continues to have several meetings a month that overlap my classes, we have had the opportunity to call several of the people who offered so generously to come over and play with Tommy while we're out.

One of the sweet couples who recently stayed with Tommy brought him his new favorite toys. He loves trucks to begin with so this new John Deere fleet fits in perfectly with Tommy's playtime adventures. From left to right in the picture below we have: Big John Tractor, Larry the Loader, Little Johnny and Gary the Gator (no kidding, these names were on the package).

We figure that, of course, Gussy and Great Uncle Joe will most appreciate the fact that Tommy now owns these toys, because they gave Tommy his first John Deere shirt that he finally grew into over the summer. Here he is wearing said t-shirt. From this picture it's apparent that nothing runs (or sleeps) like a Deere.
