Big Boy Bed!

On November 11, Tommy hit a milestone: his first night in a big boy bed! He was SO excited as I was taking the front off of his crib and fell in love with his new sleeping arrangements at first sight. Tonight, we moved the mattress up a notch so it's more like an actual bed. He hasn't fallen out yet (knock on wood) and he's done really well with rule #1: Do NOT get out until someone comes to get you. Here are some pictures from this momentous occasion!

Buzzzzzzz.....

Here are the highlights of Tommy's first real trip trick-or-treating! We spent the rainy weekend in Farmville with Uncle Jer, Uncle Nick, and Gramma, and were able to see some friends on our wet walk through the neighborhood. Our little buzzy bee had a GREAT time walking up to each house, whispering "Trick-or-Treat," getting his candy, whispering "Thank you," and then turning around to yell "I GOT MORE CANDY!!!" He was adorable and loved every minute of it.

Recently we got to spend a few days at the Outer Banks with Mimi, Pa, and GG. The weather on Saturday was perfect for soaking up a little sun and sand. As you can see, Tommy was comfortable in just his swimsuit as he spent the afternoon running down to the water, filling up his bucket, and working on his sandcastles. He even got to play without his diaper for awhile - hopefully promoting his desire to soon become completely diaper-free! One can only hope... :)

I only have pictures from Saturday, but Sunday was spent with Uncle R and Gatty who also happened to be enjoying OBX for a few days. So great to see everyone!

Here, in no particular order, are some of the shots I took at Krista and Jeff's 2009 wedding extravaganza! (I made them a little smaller since there are so many, but you should be able to click on them to see an enlarged version.) Our trip to Denver came and went in a flash, and everyone had a fantastic time at all the activities. The bride and groom were gorgeous, the wedding was beautiful, and the dancing was plentiful. Thank you, Aunt Kiki and Uncle Jeff, for planning such a wonderful weekend! Congratulations! We love you!

We're back!

After a long hiatus from the world of blogging, we're back with lots of pictures and videos to share! In early October, just before heading to Aunt Ki-Ki and Uncle Jeff's Denver wedding extravaganza, our computer had a major meltdown. Now, one month and a new hard drive later, we finally have it back (thanks to Uncle Jeremy!) and are now ready to add lots of new things to Tommy's blog.
